Lakota Warrior #1

Hi you all!
Here is the first Lakota warrior I have sculpted. He wears the hair in two braids an parted in the middle, with 3 feathers. The braids are wraped in cloth. He wears a gunstock club (based on a Teton piece) and a short hairpipes breastplate. Most of the figure is based on a picture of Lost Medicine, a Hunkpapa Sioux.

¡Buenas!

Cheers!

Crow Warrior #9

Hi you all!
Here is an experienced Crow warrior. As such, he´s wearing a heavily decorated warshirt with scalps and beaded panels. Typical of Crow warshirts is the rectangular beaded patch on the chest. His leggings are made of trade clothing and have large flaps with a typical rectangular patch on the lower side and some decorations. On the head he´s wearing an stuffed eagle and has a big knife bladed club as a weapon.

¡Buenas!

Crow Warrior #8

Hi you all!

Here is my last sculpt: a magnificent Crow warrior, with a more recent style (post 1850). He wears a pompadour hairstyle with the characteristic long hair with gum balls' decoration at the back. The quiver and bowcase are of leather and more modern that the older style for both bow and arrows other minis have. He also wears leggings made of trade cloth and a typical loop-necklace. His weapons are a shortbow and a quirt with a wooden handle that doubles as a mace. The warrior wears it suspended from his wrist.

And some WIP shots:

I hope you like it!

Teepees WIP

Hi you all!

I´m working on some teepees that I´m building according to the real process, only smaller and with other materials ;-)

First I made a template of the appropiated size (well, two of them, since I saw several types of teepees and I couldn´t decide which one I wanted).

Then I built the structure with poles, starting with four of them (like the Crows did, as opposed to the three-poled system of the Cheyenne).

Left: Poles for the second teepee

Finally, the paper template took a bath in glue to moisten it so I can put it in place...

Et voilá!

Then I "sculpted" some details with glue,

I have begun to paint it but haven´t had the time to finish it yet...

Cheers!
